Use personal lubricant on the outside of a condom for smoother penetration. This is particularly useful when engaging in anal sex. Some men find that lubricating the tip of their penis before putting on a condom adds to stimulation during intercourse. If you’re already using a lubricant, give this very simple tip a try. Choose water-based personal lubricants only, however, especially when using them in combination with condoms. Lubricants made with other bases can weaken the latex of the condom, making it less effective as a contraceptive device, as well as for sexually-transmitted disease protection.
